VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers at the Lakeland Humane Society are amazing people who give generously of their time and energy. Volunteering a few hours per month is an integral part in making a difference in lives of homeless animals. Whether you prefer to help with fund raising, special events or aid in helping the animals who are temporarily residing here. From dog walking, cat socialization and cleaning cages… we have an opportunity for you.

If you love animals, you will be volunteering at the right place! It can be a very rewarding experience to see an animal become adoptable through your compassion, time and energy. You may even make a friend for life.
DOG WALKING: Enjoy the great outdoors; walk dogs from 1:00pm – 4:30pm daily. Dogs need regular exercise and might make a friend for life.
FUNDRAISING & SPECIAL EVENTS:
Bingos, Raffles, Events, Kiosks
CLEANING:
8:00am – 12:00pm. Cats and dogs need clean places to live, help with daily cleaning activities.
MAINTENANCE SUPPORT:
Grass Mowing, Yard, Facility, Equipment
