Bark in the Park has completed and was a success! Thank you!
We would like to give our thanks to everyone that participated in this year's Bark in the Park.
Thank you to all of our volunteers that helped set things up, keep them running, and clean up after the event. Without you there could be no event at all.
Thank you to all of the dog walkers giving dogs exercise and raising funds for LHS animals. Without you we would miss out on the spirit of the event and the dogs would be left out.
Thank you to the dedicated jail & bail participants that patiently sat in dog kennels to raise funds for a new shelter. Without you we would have struggled to raise more funds.
Thank you to the Peace Officers and our honorary judge overseeing the jail & bail. Without you the jail & bail would not be the fun event that it is.
Thank you to everyone that baked hard and donated delicious food to the bake sale. Without you we would have no amazing treats to help raise funds for the animals.
Thank you to all of the vendors that came out and sold goods to help the animals. Without you there would have been no Farmer's Barket and we would miss the exciting marketplace.
Thank you to Centre Animal Hospital for sponsoring the event. Without you this event would not be possible.
Thank you to Boom 95.3 for covering the event. Without you we would not have been able to share this day with as many people.
And huge thanks to all of the people that came together that day to participate. People that stopped in or called to donate to bail people out. People that pledged for the walkers. People that came here to shop at the Farmer's Barket, or donate for a barbecue lunch, or visit with family, or just came down for a look. It took each and every one of the people participating to make this event a success.
We couldn't do this without all of you, we're happy to do this for everyone, and we're so fortunate to be part of such a connected and compassionate community. From us to you: THANK YOU for helping us help the animals. And thank you for participating in Bark in the Park 2017. We look forward to next year.
